PPP loans have an interest rate of 1 percent. Each PPP loan is guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. An applicant need not provide any collateral or personal guarantees in order to apply or be approved for a PPP loan. A PPP loan is a non-recourse loan, unless the loan proceeds are used for unallowable purposes.
